Foliage & Faux

Luxury silk flower wall hire for weddings and events

Luxury silk flower wall, flower frame, faux garlands and fabulous hanging installations for hire, perfect for weddings and events. Based in Hampshire, UK

Friend or Faux?

We thought we would do a quick blog post about why we choose to use beautiful silk flowers, instead of fresh blooms.

Now, were not about to tell you that our silk flowers can beat the real thing. There is nothing nicer than the smell of incredible flowers, but sometimes using silk blooms really does just make sense!

They are completely reusable, they can be manipulated completely unlike real flowers, and you don't have to remember to keep them on water! Faux flowers will always look their best and never wilt, and they are wonderfully, always in season!

Faux flowers have come a long way from the dusty, meagre and haphazard arrangements found in corners of bathrooms. They are shaking off their image and making a comeback! The quality of faux flowers has really improved, and we are always getting comments asking if the flowers used in our wall are real.

There are so many benefits to using them, why not get in touch with us and we can have a chat. We have so many new and exciting things in the pipe line, including floral table plans and large hanging installations!

A Little Introduction...

Hi All,

We thought we would write a little blog post to introduce ourselves. Who we are, what we do, and what we love!

Foliage & Faux was set up by the both of us - Polly & Sarah. We live in the same village, are complete crazy dog ladies (Sarah has 3 and Polly has 2 - we haven't managed to get a photo with all of them in yet!) and may enjoy a little visit to the local pub every now and again... strictly to discuss business of course!

So how did Foliage & Faux come about? The company started because we could see a gap in the market for a true high quality flower wall. To get the same effect but with real flowers is astronomically expensive (fun fact: Polly is a trained florist!) so we had the idea to create a replica in beautiful silk blooms. So, not only do you not have to worry about the hugely expensive cost, you don't need to worry about the wall looking less than its best.

What can you do with a flower wall? Well, the possibilities really are endless! Have it outside as a back drop to your ceremony, have it inside to frame your top table. Give your bar a fabulous back drop, or use it as a photo booth! We hire the wall for both weddings and events, and the wall can even be used in photo shoots. (We both want to get photos of our dogs in front of it!) We are totally open to new ideas and would be happy to discuss any questions.

What have we been upto? Well to launch, we organised a fabulous photo shoot at the stunning Elvetham Hotel in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire. We got the best suppliers on board and we all came together for a day of flowers, fun and photos!

We are really looking forward to the year ahead and have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline that we will keep you updated with. We will also be doing lots of weddings fairs and would love the chance to have a chat. We will keep you posted with all the details!
